J.J. Holshouser

Jennifer “J.J.” Holshouser is a freelance writer and editor with extensive experience in the health care industry. A graduate of the School of Journalism at UNC Chapel Hill, she began her career writing about medical research at Duke University Medical Center. She continued to promote health care initiatives and human interest stories at University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center. While on hiatus as a stay-at-home mom, she served as a volunteer writer and editor for a number of non-profit organizations. She recently worked as a ghostwriter on a novel about tobacco farming in North Carolina set in the 1950s and 60s. With careful attention to detail and creative flair, she enjoys helping people find unique ways to tell their stories. Her outside interests include competitive tennis, psychology, reading, and following her two favorite sports teams: the UNC Tarheels and the Carolina Panthers.
