Hilary Hattenbach

Hilary Hattenbach is a published author, seasoned storyteller, and award-winning marketing strategist for entertainment brands. A contributing writer for the Television Academy’s Emmy Magazine, her work has appeared in a number of publications including, Los Angeles Magazine, Damn Mag, Entropy, The Erma Bombeck Writer’s Workshop Blog, Chicken Soup for the Soul, and EastSider LA.

Winner of the 2016 Mona Schreiber Prize for Humorous Fiction, Hilary is also the coauthor of The Kitchen Decoded Cookbook (Skyhorse 2014), recognized by Buzzfeed as one of  “21 Cookbooks That Are Actually Worth the Money,” and by Bustle.com as an “Essential Cookbook to Get You Through Every Dinner Party, Holiday and Brunch Ever.”

As a live storyteller, Hilary has performed in front of large audiences including KPCC’s Unheard LA storytelling series and been featured in a story segment on KPCC’s Take Two radio show.
